Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum two years of related clinical nursing experience.
• Willingness to float to multiple locations within the health system.
• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
• Current BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and ENPC certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across units and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and identify potential complications.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Orient quickly to different units, populations, and care protocols within the float pool.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments and outcomes.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and maintain safety standards.
• Work day and night shifts as scheduled.
