Henry Ford Health Staffing in Michigan is seeking a Registered Nurse for the System Float pool to provide direct patient care across multiple units. You will develop and evaluate individualized care plans and communicate with patients and families to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.

Flexibility is essential as you rotate across locations within the health system, participate in orientation, and maintain high standards of documentation.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum two years of related clinical nursing experience.
• Willingness to float to multiple locations within the health system.
• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing; CPR/BLS required; ACLS, TNCC, ENPC certifications as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across units, developing, implementing, and evaluating individualized nursing care plans.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and identify potential complications or changes in condition.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
• Demonstrate flexibility by orienting to different units, populations, and care protocols within the float pool.
