Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred; required graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• 2 years of recent clinical nursing experience in a related area.
• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing and active nursing license.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP/EFM or other required certifications as per unit requirements.
• Ability to float to multiple locations and adapt to diverse clinical settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across units with individualized nursing care plans.
• Perform comprehensive assessments and identify potential complications early.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team.
• Orient rapidly to different units and patient populations within the float pool.
• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and maintain safe patient care standards.
• Work assigned day and night shifts as scheduled.
