Henry Ford Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for system float assignments across multiple units within the health system. The role supports staffing during call-ins, leaves of absence, census fluctuations, and vacation coverage, offering variety and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
Current RN license in the state of Michigan or applicable state.
Willingness to float to multiple locations within the health system.
Excellent clinical judgment and patient-care skills.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care across units and develop individualized nursing care plans.
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and identify changes in condition.
Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team to ensure coordinated care.
Orient quickly to different units and care protocols within the float pool.
Maintain accurate documentation of assessments and interventions.
