Job summary

Advocate Health Care in Milwaukee is seeking an inpatient CNA for the Resource Team. This full-time position requires 2+ years of acute-care hospital experience, 36 hours per week, and a 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• Two years of recent inpatient CNA experience in an acute care hospital is required.
• Active WI CNA in good standing with 1+ year acute/hospital experience; 2+ years preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 45 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care including bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, positioning and mobility.
• Record vital signs, I&O, weights and other data; document accurately in EMR.
• Assist with admissions, transfers and discharges under RN supervision; maintain room readiness.
• Collect specimens and participate in point-of-care testing as directed.
• Assist with stocking, equipment cleaning and maintaining skin integrity and patient comfort.
