Job summary

Advocate Health in Wisconsin is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for the float pool to cover multiple Aurora hospitals in Zone 2. The role requires an active WI CNA in good standing with 1+ year of acute care experience.

Both part-time (24 hrs/wk) and full-time (36 hrs/wk) options are available, with 12-hour noc shifts and weekend/holiday rotation. You will support RNs with daily patient care, document vitals, rounds, and care activities, and assist with admissions, transfers and

Qualifications

• Active WI CNA in good standing.
• 1+ year acute/hospital experience (2+ years preferred).
• Ability to travel between multiple sites during a shift.

Responsibilities

• Assists RN with daily patient care including bathing, oral hygiene, feeding and ambulation.
• Measures and documents vital signs and intake/output in EMR.
• Performs patient rounds and communicates needs to RN.
• Supports admission, transfer and discharge processes and room setup.
• Collects specimens and performs point-of-care testing as indicated.
• Maintains stocking, cleanliness and equipment for the nursing area.
