Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking qualified CNAs to join our Regional Float Pool, floating across up to seven Aurora hospitals within Zone 3. The role offers self-scheduling, night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), and per-hospital pay differentials, with a base pay range of $20.80–$31.20 per hour and benefits eligibility.

Required is an active WI CNA in good standing with 1+ year acute/hospital experience preferred; 24 hours per week, part-time schedule, and ability to float as needed across facilities.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to set priorities.
• Team members will maintain annual educational requirements for hospital based certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care including bathing, hygiene, feeding, ambulation.
• Document vital signs and patient data in EMR.
• Perform rounding and communicate findings to RN.
• Assist in admission, transfer and discharge processes.
• Collect specimens and perform point-of-care testing.
• Stock and clean nursing area and equipment.
• Assist with patient positioning and diet management.
• Maintain skin integrity and use isolation precautions as needed.
• Remove IVs and provide post mortem care as required.
