Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Resource CNA to float across Illinois facilities within Zones 4 and 5, covering a 36-hour work week with full-time benefits eligibility. This role supports nursing staff in a hospital environment, ensuring patient comfort and safety across multiple sites.

The candidate must hold a CNA with BLS and be in good standing, plus a GED/HSED or High School Diploma and at least two years of acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Two years of acute care CNA experience required.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification within 45 days.
• Nurse Aide in good standing with state registry.

Responsibilities

• Assists RN with daily patient care (bathing, feeding, ambulation).
• Documents vital signs and intake/output in EMR.
• Performs rounding and communicates observations to RN.
• Supports admission, transfer and discharge processes.
• Collects specimens and performs point-of-care testing as indicated.
