Job summary

Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush is seeking a full-time Office Coordinator to float among Joliet, Westchester, Geneva, Naperville, Oak Brook, Lombard and Aurora clinics. The home location is Joliet, with responsibilities across multiple outpatient sites and a patient-focused office environment.

The role requires front desk knowledge, strong customer service, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. A high school diploma or GED is required, with experience in a PT clinic preferred; teamwork and HIPAA

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED required.
• Front Desk knowledge and experience required, preferably in PT clinic.
• Strong background in providing excellent customer service skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of healthcare insurance benefits and coverage preferred.
• Work well in a team atmosphere and have leadership skills.
• Enjoy interacting with people.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients professionally, answer phones, schedule appointments, and process authorizations and verifications.
• Maintain inventory of office supplies to support patient care.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines.
• Ensure clinic cleanliness and safety.
• Process, distribute, and track documentation to physicians for signature.
• Handle incoming calls and respond to inquiries promptly.
• Assist with cancellations and rescheduling of appointments.
• Operate and maintain office equipment.
• Communicate patient progress to physicians, case managers, adjusters and attorneys.
• Support Facility Manager with daily clinic operations.
