Job summary

Chelsea State in Chelsea, MI is seeking a customer service-focused banking professional for a floating position between our Chelsea and Jackson offices. You will handle daily teller responsibilities, assist customers, and support the NDIP referral process.

You will open new accounts, process deposits and withdrawals, manage cash drawer accuracy, and participate in cross-selling banking products. Training provided; attendance is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Experience handling cash deposits and withdrawals.
• Ability to open and maintain customer accounts.
• Familiarity with banking policies and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective cross-selling and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Receive checks and cash for deposits and enter into records.
• Cashes checks and processes withdrawals.
• Balance drawer at end of day.
• Assist customers with questions and ATM transactions.
• Open new accounts (checking, savings, IRAs).
• Assist with cross-selling of banking products.
• Attend training as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
