Job summary

GASP! (Georgia After School Program) in Social Circle, GA, seeks a Floating Assistant Director to lead a safe, fun after-school program from 2:30 to 6:30 PM at Social Circle Elementary schools.

You’ll supervise daily activities, manage staff tasks, and ensure smooth operation while keeping spaces clean and organized according to guidelines. Ideal candidates are energetic, passionate about working with kids, with proven leadership and administrative experience.

Qualifications

• Energetic, dynamic, and ready to take charge.
• Passion for working with children.
• Experience in staff leadership, administration and working with kids.
• At least 21 years old.
• Child-related certifications preferred and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the after-school program to keep kids safe and engaged.
• Manage daily tasks, schedules and staff assignments.
• Build strong relationships with children, families and school partners.
• Ensure operations run smoothly and spaces stay clean and organized per guidelines.
• Assist with setup and packing away activities at the end of each day.

Be a Floating Assistant Director with GASP!

As a Site Director, you’ll lead an exciting program where kids are safe and having a blast. You’ll manage daily tasks, build strong relationships, and ensure everything runs smoothly. We provide all necessary equipment, so setting up and packing away is a breeze. Our shared spaces stay clean and organized, adhering to company guidelines.

Directors:

• Must be energetic, dynamic, and ready to take charge!
• Must have a passion for working with children
• Must have prior experience in staff leadership, administration, and working with kids

Child-related TCC, CDA, Associates or Bachelors degree highly preferred, as well as reliable transportation.

Work up to 25 hours weekly.

Mondays through Fridays 2:00 pm-6:30 pm

No Weekends or holiday
