Compass Group USA seeks a Floating Assistant General Manager to assist the Local General Manager in meeting client expectations across United Airlines lounges. You’ll lead teams, manage budgets, and promote interdepartmental collaboration with a focus on safety, sanitation and service excellence.

You will oversee operations at multiple airport locations (SFO, DEN, EWR, ORD), ensuring food quality, cost controls and staff development while aligning with the client’s standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
• 5–7 years upscale food service experience including multi‑unit management.
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills; adaptable to constant changes and attention to detail.
• Supervisory, scheduling, training and coaching skills.
• Ability to travel up to 100% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff in accordance with policies and laws.
• Interviews, hires, trains and coaches employees and managers.
• Participates in meetings and training programs.
