Job summary

Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union in Lowell, MA is seeking a Float Assistant Branch Manager to oversee Member Experience across multiple locations. You’ll supervise team members, handle complex transactions, and ensure compliance with policies.

The role requires strong supervisory experience, excellent customer service, and the ability to float between eight locations as needed to support branches and provide outstanding service to our members.

Qualifications

• Three years of related experience required.
• Associate's degree required or an equivalent combination of education and experience. NMLS credentials required or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Excellent interpersonal skills including confidentiality, diplomacy, and tact in communication.
• Proficient Microsoft Office and ability to learn core banking systems.
• Able to stand, sit, walk, reach, and lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Manages cash levels and performs weekly, monthly, and quarterly branch audits, including cashboxes, vault, ATMs, and TCRs.
• Greets members and provides information regarding transactions, products, and services; fulfills member service requests.
• Performs account openings, maintenance, wires, loans, and other banking transactions.
• Executes complex transactions including IRA, business, fiduciary accounts, domestic and international wires, and home equity loans; provides notary and medallion signature guarantee.
• Deescalates challenging member situations with sound judgment and professionalism.
• Oversees overrides within guidelines and trains new Member Experience team members.
• Performs settlement procedures, balances MSR or Teller cash drawer, and assists with daily branch balancing.
• Engages in relationship-building by educating and referring Credit Union products and services.
• Maintains knowledge of all deposit and loan products and services.
