Job summary

Columbia Bank in San Diego seeks a Teller - Float to serve as the first point of contact for clients, performing teller transactions accurately while traveling to cover branches as needed. You will learn Columbia Bank's product and service offerings, support the Breakthrough Client Service Standards, and refer basic bank products to the appropriate business partners.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 1 year banking or customer service preferred.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Ability to learn and comply with bank policies and systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with numbers and text.
• Strong relationship-building with clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Perform teller transactions with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Handle deposits, withdrawals, transfers, payments, and check cashing.
• Balance cash drawer and process night drop deposits.
• Assist in cash handling and fraud risk mitigation.
• Provide proactive solutions and refer products as appropriate.
