Job summary

Columbia Bank, the first point of contact for many clients, seeks a Teller - Float to perform teller transactions accurately while traveling to cover branches in need of staffing support. You will balance cash drawers, process deposits and withdrawals, and stay updated on bank products.

Role requires 1 year of banking or customer service experience, attention to detail, and the ability to comply with policies. Onsite at posted locations with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1 year of banking or customer service experience preferred.
• Bilingual skills are preferred.
• Ability to learn and comply with all bank policies, procedures and systems.
• Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail with numbers and written instructions.
• Shows ability to build relationships with clients and bank associates.

Responsibilities

• Perform teller transactions and cash handling for clients with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Support daily tasks to maintain branch integrity and balance instruments and logs.
• Mitigate risk by safekeeping cash and transferring funds as needed.
• Interact with clients, anticipate needs, and offer appropriate solutions.
• Deepen knowledge of Columbia Bank products and stay updated on changes.
• Identify and refer basic bank products to the appropriate business partner.
