Job summary

Columbia Bank in Palm Desert, CA is seeking a reliable Teller - Float to serve as the first point of contact for clients. You will perform teller transactions, handle cash, and ensure accuracy and compliance with bank policies during staffing coverage across branches.

You will travel within the geographic area to cover branches, build client relationships, cross-sell basic products, and uphold the Breakthrough Client Service Standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year banking or customer service experience preferred.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Ability to learn and comply with bank policies and systems.
• Detail-oriented with accuracy in numbers and instructions.
• Able to build relationships with clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Perform teller transactions and cash handling with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Balance cash drawer and process deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
• Mitigate risk by safekeeping money and prompt transfer of funds.
• Interact with clients and provide proactive solutions per service standards.
• Promote bank products to meet client needs.
