Job summary

Columbia Bank in Renton, WA seeks a Teller - Float to serve as the first point of contact for clients, perform teller transactions, and travel to cover staffing across branches.

Under guidance from the Float Manager and Branch Leaders, you will balance cash drawers, process deposits and withdrawals, and uphold strict accuracy, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance. This role supports referrals and contributes to our Breakthrough Client Service Standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, required.
• 1 year of banking or customer service experience, preferred.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Ability to learn and comply with Bank policies and systems.

Responsibilities

• Always perform teller transactions and cash handling with accuracy.
• Balance cash drawer and process deposits, withdrawals, payments.
• Mitigate risk by safekeeping money and prompt accounting of funds.
• Interact with clients, anticipate needs, and offer proactive solutions.
• Refer basic bank products to appropriate partners and support team goals.
