Job summary

Mercy South Float Pool is seeking a dynamic Registered Nurse to provide patient care across multiple units. You’ll enjoy variety, growth, and continuous learning while delivering compassionate, high-quality care.

Requirements include 1–2 years bedside RN experience, an accredited nursing degree (BSN preferred), an active RN license in Missouri, and BLS certification. Expect shifts across Orthopedics, Med/Surg, Telemetry, ICU, ED, and more.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of bedside RN experience.
• Nursing degree from an accredited school (BSN preferred).
• Current RN license in the state.
• BLS through the American Heart Association.
• Push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Prolonged standing and walking each shift.
• Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care across Mercy South Float Pool units (Orthopedics, Med/Surg, Telemetry, Stepdown, ICU, ED, Behavioral Health, Oncology, Neurology, and more).
• Coordinate patient care with other departments while protecting patient rights and confidentiality.
• Maintain professionalism and align with Mercy’s mission, values, and standards.
