Mercy South Float Pool is seeking a dynamic Registered Nurse to provide compassionate, high-quality care across multiple units including Orthopedics, Med/Surg, Telemetry, Stepdown, ICU, and ED. The role offers growth, variety, and continuous learning within Mercy’s Nursing Professional Practice Model.

Qualifications include 1–2 years of bedside RN experience, a nursing degree (BSN preferred), a Missouri RN license, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of bedside RN experience.
• Nursing degree from an accredited school (BSN preferred).
• Current RN license in the state of Missouri.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Physical requirements: push/pull/lift 50 pounds, prolonged standing and walking.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care across multiple units as assigned.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality.
• Maintain compliance with Mercy Health System policies and nursing standards.
• Document care accurately and participate in shift handoffs.
• Float to units such as Orthopedics, Med/Surg, Telemetry, ICU, Emergency Department, Behavioral Health, Oncology, and Neurology.
