Job summary

Atrium Health Navicent- The Medical Center is seeking a registered nurse to join the Specialty Float Pool on a full-time basis. The role is 36 hours per week, with 3 twelve-hour night shifts, and rotation weekends and holidays.

Floating to all departments within the main campus and sister facilities is required to ensure the best care. Candidates must complete an accredited nursing program, hold a state RN license, and maintain BLS and ACLS for Healthcare Providers.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• BLS & ACLS for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Two years of hospital bedside care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
