Job summary

Duke University Health System- Duke Primary Care-Float Pool seeks to hire a Registered Nurse who will embrace our mission of Advancing Health Together.

Independently plan and provide professional nursing care for patients in accordance with physician orders and established policies and procedures, under the supervision of the team leader or charge nurse. This is a travel/float position within Duke Primary Care in Durham, NC, open 8am - 5pm, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Work requires graduation from an accredited BSN program.
• Must have current or compact RN licensure in the state of North Carolina.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, provide, and document professional nursing care following physician orders and policies.
• Delegate tasks and supervise licensed and unlicensed staff.
• Support development of staff and participate in performance improvement activities.
• Perform related duties incidental to the work described.
