Job summary

Duke University Health System's Duke Primary Care in Durham is seeking a float pool Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care across our primary care sites. You will plan, deliver, and document nursing care under physician orders and supervise other care staff as needed.

Minimum: BSN, NC RN license, BLS; 1 year RN experience for Level II. This position offers departmental growth, flexible assignments, and the chance to impact patient care in the Triangle region.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited BSN program.
• NC RN licensure required; BLS required.
• One year of RN experience is required for Level II.

Responsibilities

• Plan, provide, and document professional nursing care, utilizing the nursing process under physician orders and established policies.
• Delegate tasks and supervise other licensed and unlicensed care providers.
• Assist other healthcare personnel in the delivery of patient care and maintain a safe environment.
• Prioritize work organization and identify resources to complete care promptly.
• Support professional development and participate in performance improvement activities.
• Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
