Job summary

Duke Urgent Care in Durham seeks a Registered Nurse for the Float Pool (Travel position). You will independently plan and provide professional nursing care for patients in accordance with physician orders and established policies. Open 8am–8pm, seven days a week, this role supports care across adult and pediatric populations.

Required BSN, NC RN license, and BLS. The position offers relocation assistance and opportunities to grow within a Magnet-recognized health system.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited BSN program.
• Current or compact RN licensure in North Carolina.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, provide, and document professional nursing care per physician orders and policies.
• Delegate tasks and supervise other licensed and unlicensed care providers.
• Assist other healthcare personnel in patient care and maintain the environment of care.
