Job summary

Mercy Hospital Washington is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Facility Float Pool (PRN). You will provide patient care across multiple units, rotate through ED, ICU, Cardiac Telemetry, and Medical-Surgical floors, and collaborate with a dynamic care team to ensure high-quality outcomes.

The role emphasizes flexibility, teamwork, and continuous learning, with float pool incentives and shift differentials. Missouri license and BLS are required, ACLS/PALS may be needed depending on assignment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Active RN license in Missouri or a compact license (must meet state board requirements).
• 1+ year RN experience preferred.
• BLS – Required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS – Depending on assignment, may also require.
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support).

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care as part of the Float Pool across designated units.
• Rotate across Emergency Department, ICU, Cardiac Telemetry, and Medical-Surgical as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Uphold Mercy's standards and patient rights within the nursing scope.
