Job summary

Mercy Hospital Washington is seeking compassionate RN Float Pool nurses for PRN coverage across multiple units including ED, ICU, and telemetry. You will adapt to varying assignments, maintain patient safety and confidentiality, and collaborate with a cross-functional team in a mission-driven setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Active RN license in Missouri or compact license (must meet state board requirements).
• 1+ year RN experience preferred.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required within 30 days of hire.
• Depending on assignment, ACLS and/or PALS may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care across Emergency Department, ICU, Cardiac Telemetry, Medical-Surgical units for adults and pediatrics as assigned.
• Coordinate care with other departments while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality.
• Rotate across units in Mercy Hospital Washington Float Pool to support staffing needs.

Utilizes the Mercy Nursing Professional Practice Model and nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patients care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patients' rights and confidentiality of patient information. • + $5.00/hr for RNs without ICU experience
• + $7.50/hr for RNs with ICU experience
• Base Hourly Rate + All Applicable Differentials

About The Float Pool

Float Pool RNs Rotate Across The Following Units

• Emergency Department
• ICU
• Cardiac Telemetry
• Medical-Surgical - (Adults)
• Medical-Surgical - (Adults & Peds)

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited RN program

• Certifications:

• Depending on assignment, may also require:

• Physical Requirements:
• Able to push/pull/lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Requires standing, walking, bending, reaching, kneeling, and squatting throughout shifts
