Intermountain Health's St Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings seeks experienced Registered Nurses to join the Resource Pool. You’ll float across inpatient units, delivering evidence-based care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to maintain safe staffing and high-quality patient outcomes.

This role offers a 10% float differential, opportunities for cross-training, and coverage across days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of start.
• Minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse experience.
• Willingness and ability to float across multiple units at St. Vincent Hospital.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
• RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their BSN within four years of hire date.
• BSN is required as of 04/27/2025; prior hires kept existing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate, evidence-based nursing care across inpatient units.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care.
• Adapt quickly to different units, patient populations, and acuity levels.
• Collaborate with physicians, care managers, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Continuously monitor, document, and evaluate patient progress and outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation per regulatory standards.
• Educate patients and families to promote recovery and safe transitions of care.
• Uphold professional, ethical, and organizational standards of nursing practice.
