Job summary

Intermountain Health's St Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, MT seeks experienced RN professionals for the Resource Pool (Float Pool). Float Pool RNs provide safe, evidence-based care across inpatient units, covering days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

A 10% float differential applies, with opportunities for cross-training and growth. Starting in the Medical‑Surgical Resource Pool, you’ll gain broad clinical exposure while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams in a mission‑driven

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of start.
• Minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse experience.
• RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their BSN within four years of hire date.
• BSN is required as of the last update (4/27/2025).

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care across inpatient units.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care.
• Adapt quickly to different units, patient populations, and acuity levels.
• Collaborate with physicians, care managers, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Continuously monitor, document, and evaluate patient progress and outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Educate patients and families to promote recovery and safe transitions of care.
• Uphold professional, ethical, and organizational standards of nursing practice.
