Job summary

Advocate Health is hiring registered nurses for full-time roles in North Carolina. The position involves 3 x 12-hour shifts (7a–7p) across a 36-hour work week, with occasional float to Atrium Health Union and other units. Requires RN license, BLS, and nursing program graduate status.

Salary range is $38.20–$57.30 per hour with comprehensive benefits. Candidates should have strong clinical judgment, excellent communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Current RN license with privileges to practice in the relevant state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications may be required by specialty.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Uses nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans with the care team.
• Maintain a culture of safety and accurate EHR documentation.
• May administer medications and therapies as per protocols.
• Demonstrates effective communication and teamwork, delegating appropriately.
