Job summary

Labcorp seeks a Float Phlebotomist to join our Weymouth, MA team. The role involves working across multiple Labcorp sites, performing venipuncture and capillary collections for all ages, and ensuring accurate data entry and patient service.

Travel to additional sites is required, with a Monday–Friday schedule and rotating Saturdays. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and a phlebotomy certification or 6+ months of experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 6+ months phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
