Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist Float to join our Lowell, MA team. This full-time role requires performing blood collections by venipuncture and capillary methods across all ages, collecting specimens for drug screens and related tests, and ensuring accurate data entry and patient logs.

You will travel to additional sites as needed, provide exceptional customer service, and maintain specimen integrity while working both independently and within a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 1+ year of phlebotomy experience.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests and other required tests.
• Accurately enter patient information and maintain logs.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and ensure proper labeling and handling.
• Provide superior customer service to patients and maintain professionalism.
• Travel to additional sites as needed.
