Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our Kingwood and Spring, TX locations. This role involves collecting blood via venipuncture and capillary methods, gathering specimens for various tests, and ensuring accurate data entry and billing support.

You will travel to multiple sites as needed while delivering excellent patient service. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and a phlebotomy certification or accredited training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training from an accredited agency.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
