Job summary

Labcorp in Weymouth, MA is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our team. Work schedule is Monday–Friday with hours ranging 6:00 am–8:00 pm and rotating Saturdays.

Responsibilities include collecting blood samples, performing drug screens, and ensuring accurate patient data entry and billing support. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and phlebotomy training or experience, with preference for prior LabCorp experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 6+ months phlebotomy experience.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
