Labcorp is hiring a Float Phlebotomist to join our team in the Kingwood and Spring, TX area. The role involves flexible assignments across multiple Labcorp sites, collecting samples from patients of all ages, documenting data, and ensuring accurate processing.

A strong emphasis on customer service and reliability is essential. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma, with 2+ years' phlebotomy experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or training preferred if no experience
• Experience in patient-facing blood collection or phlebotomy desirable
• Strong data entry and accuracy
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to travel to multiple sites as needed

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
