Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our team across City, ST sites, performing blood collections and specimen processing for diverse patient populations. Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, hours vary between 6:00am–6:00pm with rotating Saturdays.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and a phlebotomy certification or training; 3 months or more experience is acceptable. Labcorp offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
