Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our expanding team in the Kingwood and Spring, TX area. You will rotate across clinics, performing venipuncture and capillary blood collection for patients of all ages while ensuring accurate data entry and efficient specimen handling.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and may include phlebotomy certification. You will represent Labcorp with a focus on superior customer service, with occasional travel and a flexible schedule

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification or accredited training preferred.
• Demonstrated exceptional customer service skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately into the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites as needed.
