Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our Wayne, NJ team. The role involves venipuncture and capillary collections, specimen handling, data entry, and patient service across multiple sites. You will support various clinics with patient engagement and billing tasks.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and 1 year or more phlebotomy experience; a certification is acceptable. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
