Labcorp in Wayne, NJ is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to perform blood collection by venipuncture and capillary techniques across multiple sites. Schedule Monday–Friday with varied hours and rotating Saturdays.

The role emphasizes patient service, accurate data entry, and travel to additional sites as needed. A high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or training are required; 1+ year of phlebotomy experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency preferred
• 1 year+ phlebotomy experience or training benefits patient handling

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
