Job summary

Labcorp in Montclair, NJ is seeking a Phlebotomist Float to join our team. The role covers Essex County with duties including blood collections, specimen processing, patient service and travel to additional sites as needed.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of phlebotomy experience; certification or accredited training is preferred. A valid driver's license and ability to work 21+ are required. We offer a competitive hourly wage and robust benefits.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or accredited training preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills; able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately in the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen logs.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients.
• Assist with administrative duties and travel to additional sites as needed.
