Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist Float to join our team in Raritan, NJ. Schedule includes Monday–Friday with varying hours and occasional Saturdays. Travel to multiple sites is required to collect specimens and support testing across locations.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or training; 1 year of phlebotomy experience is preferred. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist (preferred).
• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Be at least 21 years old.
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
