Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our team in Jersey City, NJ. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques across patient age groups, travel to additional sites as needed, and ensure accurate data entry and compassionate patient service.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, phlebotomy certification or training (or 3+ months experience), and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
