Job summary

Labcorp in Manahawkin, NJ is hiring a Phlebotomist Float to collect blood samples and support testing across sites. You will perform venipuncture for all ages, enter patient data, and assist in billing while delivering excellent patient service.

The role requires phlebotomy experience or certification, strong communication, and the ability to work independently or with a team. Valid license and transportation are essential; travel to other sites is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Phlebotomy certification or accredited training if no work experience.
• Strong communication, written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Be at least 21 years old.
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Carry out administrative and clerical duties as needed.
• Travel to additional sites when required.
