A contract phlebotomist position with Acloché LLC located in Imperial, CA and surrounding areas (float). Schedule is 6 AM to 6 PM, Monday to Friday, with start/end times varying by location. The assignment lasts about 3 months with potential for permanent placement.

Compensation ranges from $23.00 to $25.00 per hour, based on experience. Mileage expenses are paid and benefits are available. The role requires pediatric and geriatric blood draw experience, a clean driving record, and reliable

Formación

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience.

Responsabilidades

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information, etc.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients.
• Demonstrate technique using straight needles and/or butterfly needles in line with physician orders.
• Match laboratory requisitions to specimen tubes and label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required.
• Check test requisitions or computer labels against scripts to ensure accuracy; package specimens for transport.
• Store specimens at required temperatures and label containers correctly for transport.
• Attend annual department trainings and comply with OSHA and DEP regulations.
