Your Talent Team in Imperial, CA is seeking a licensed phlebotomist for a 3‑month contract with potential for permanent placement. The role requires experience in pediatric and geriatric settings, a clean driving record, and reliable transportation with mileage reimbursement. Schedule is 6 AM–6 PM, M-F, with float to nearby locations as needed.

Compensation ranges from $23 to $25 per hour, commensurate with experience. Benefits are available for eligible employees.

Formación

Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
High School Diploma or GED.

Responsabilidades

Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, and recording maintenance data.
Explain the venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients.
Demonstrate technique with straight or butterfly needles as required.
Match requisition forms to specimens and label, centrifuge, and prepare for transport.
Ensure test requisitions or labels match scripts and package specimens appropriately.
Store specimens at required temperatures and maintain specimen integrity.
Follow OSHA and DEP regulations and attend annual trainings.
Answer telephone calls and relay laboratory results as needed.
