Horan Hiring Solutions, LLC is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract role in Imperial, CA and surrounding areas. The position offers a 6 AM to 6 PM schedule, Monday through Friday, with potential to transition to permanent employment.

The job may involve float assignments to nearby locations like Brawley and Calexico, and includes mileage reimbursement and reliable transportation requirements. The role requires phlebotomy experience, pediatric and geriatric exposure, and a valid state phlebotomy

Formación

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsabilidades

• Perform blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information, etc.
• Explain clearly the venipuncture process to patients and other specimen collection procedures.
• Demonstrate technique with straight or butterfly needles and follow physician orders.
• Match requisition forms to specimen tubes, label, centrifuge, and prepare specimens as required.
• Check test requisitions for accuracy and package specimens for transport.
• Store specimens at required temperatures and label containers accordingly.
• Follow OSHA and DEP regulations and attend annual trainings.
• Answer calls and relay laboratory results as needed.
