Job summary

Labcorp in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our team. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary methods across age groups, and collect specimens for various tests.

The role requires strong customer service, data entry accuracy, and the ability to travel to additional sites as needed. Shifts may start early and extend into evenings with potential Saturday rotation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
