Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our team in Columbus, GA, with coverage across Columbus, GA, Alburn, AL, and Phoenix City, AL. You will perform venipuncture and capillary collections, enter patient data accurately, and support billing and specimen processing while delivering outstanding patient service.

The role requires a phlebotomy certification and 3+ years of experience, with flexibility to travel and work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program.
• 3+ years of phlebotomy experience.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
