Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our Atlanta, GA team. You will perform venipuncture and capillary collections across diverse patient ages and travel to multiple sites as needed.

The role requires phlebotomy certification or training and 2+ years of phlebotomy experience, with a strong focus on accuracy, data entry, and exceptional patient service. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency.
• 2+ years of experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
