Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our team in Atlanta, GA. You will perform blood collections, collect various specimens, and ensure accurate patient data entry while traveling to multiple sites and providing excellent patient service.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, phlebotomy certification or training, and 2+ years of phlebotomy experience; paid incentives and travel support may apply as part of the Float program.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program.
• 2 years or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
