Job summary

Genoa Healthcare is seeking a Float Pharmacy Technician to support mental health and specialty pharmacy operations. You will dispense prescriptions and perform clerical duties under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, while traveling to Boston-area sites as needed.

The role requires MA tech license, reliable transportation, and strong communication skills; immunization certification is a plus. Pay ranges hourly with benefits and travel considerations.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in Massachusetts.
• Access to reliable transportation and valid US Driver's license.
• Ability to use own car to travel to sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and clinic staff.
• Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under supervision.
• Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies.
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders.
• Verifies medication stock and enters data to maintain inventory records.
• Assist pharmacist in pharmacy functions and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Perform clerical duties related to the department.
• Communicate professionally, verbally and in writing.
• Other duties as assigned.
