Job summary

Genoa Healthcare seeks a Float Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the mental health and specialty pharmacy, primarily dispensing prescriptions and performing clerical tasks under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.

Based in Charlestown, MA, you will cover duties across Boston-area sites, fill orders, manage inventory, process wholesale requests, and help ensure compliance with federal and state requirements while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Massachusetts.
• Access to reliable transportation and a valid US Driver's license.
• Ability to use own car to travel to sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and clinic staff.
• Fills prescription orders and makes them available under direct supervision of the Pharmacist.
• Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies.
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders.
• Verifies medication stock and records inventory data.
• Assist pharmacist with pharmacy functions and compliance with laws.
• Perform clerical duties related to the department.
• Communicate professionally in verbal and written form.
